Ziban Albe Full Elementary School #9

This is our new school project which, thanks to funding from the Aall, Band Aid Trust & Herrod Foundations, started in June 2011.

This has been our biggest project yet for a school with eight grades and over 1,200 registered students. Our work included the construction of five new four room classroom blocks, a dedicated 25-station solar-powered computer training facility and two dry latrines. The site, near the market town of Hiwane, already has piped water on site and we arranged for a mains electricity conmnectuion ands all wiring. We provided new locally-made basic furniture througfhout.

The entire project cost over £ 250,000 and was completed in April 2012
